TVA | Updates

TVA has recently updated our Limitation Periods Chart of the exceptions to the two-year rule under the Limitations Act, 2002. Sign up to receive updates to this annotated practice tool.

Of significance is the removal of the Arbitration Act, 1991, from s. 16 of the Limitations Act, 2002, which is the section listing proceedings to which no limitation period applies.  Under the latest changes, applications to enforce arbitration awards are subject to a ten-year limitation period.

Last amendment: S.O. 2017, c. 2, Schedules 5 & 8
